Charkovská 399/16
At the end of the nineteenth century, the demand for new housing led to an explosion of residential buildings beyond the traditional boundaries of the city. Charkovská (or as it was first known, Nerudova) twenty minutes from the centre of Prague by tram, contains some extremely fine examples of historicist facades, all of them part of the new wave of construction. The date on the gable of this corner apartment is actually one of the earliest in this area.
